The LifeLight Festival in Sioux Falls is a one-of-a-kind, vibrant celebration of faith, music, and community that draws thousands each year for a transformative experience. This free festival brings together a diverse lineup of top Christian music artists, powerful speakers, and a variety of family-friendly entertainment for an unforgettable day of inspiration and unity. Set against the beauty of downtown Sioux Falls, the festival grounds features a main stage with live music, areas for worship, and spaces dedicated to prayer and personal reflection. For younger festival-goers, there are dedicated activities like action sports, games, and interactive experiences designed to create fun and meaningful memories. A wide selection of food trucks and local vendors offer delicious options to enjoy. Beyond the events and performances, LifeLight Festival is deeply rooted in its mission to bring light into darkness - sharing the hope and love of the Gospel with as many people as possible, inspiring both individuals and families to strengthen their faith and embrace a life centered around love and purpose. Every year, this free gathering is a powerful testament to community, connection, and the life-changing message of the Gospel, leaving attendees with lasting memories and renewed hearts.

Music

If music is the universal language, then it makes sense that LifeLight would use this tool to reach people’s hearts as we proclaim Jesus’ name. The LifeLight Festival, held annually over Labor Day weekend, is the largest and most well-known aspect of the ministry. With the addition of LifeLight Hills Alive and UP City Fest we bring the music to local communities, purposing to stop in cities large & small to share the love of Christ and to host positive, safe events for area youth & families. In addition, our Z8 Nights is a dynamic initiative designed to inspire and equip Gen Z through worship, revival, and Gospel-centered events. Through these high-energy worship nights, impactful speakers, and interactive gatherings, Z8 aims to awaken a new generation of world-changers by encouraging them to live boldly for Christ. 

Missions

Jesus said, “Go!” and we love to do just that, whether locally or internationally. We are passionate about sharing Christ, serving the poor & needy, and transforming impoverished communities. Our international missions trips have taken teams to countries such as Mexico, Haiti, Guatemala, Ethiopia, and Pakistan, and partnerships with local ministries allow for LifeLight to continue supporting the Gospel in these nations. Many of our missions trips use music, whether it’s an acoustic guitar or a full blown festival, to literally bridge the language barrier as we serve as the hands and feet of Jesus internationally.  In these countries and beyond, we bring Light into darkness to fulfill the Great Commission.

Community

From its very beginning, the heart of LifeLight has been to reach across both literal and perceived boundaries with the truth and revelation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have sought to take the Church as a Body, regardless of denomination, outside the walls of a building to minister to those that Jesus called us to serve. Quite simply, we hope to see the Church as a community, not just individual, independent groups of Christians. In various events through the year, we hope to foster connections between church leadership, business leaders, and local government offices. These connections, this community, we hope will unify to seek the betterment of cites, states, and nations through the power of Christ.
